First Day Home as a Family

Well....today begins a new era in the Smith household.   As if I needed more distractions, here comes Laurin and her incessant nagging.   How I will get anything done, I dont know.   Who knew laying around all day was so taxing.

This is my first of many posts.  This blog will serve mainly as a means to update everyone on the future insanity that will be our daily lives.  As this is my first blog, feel free to comment on what you would like to see.  I have some exciting features in mind, so get ready.

Anyway, the countdown is on.  Feel free to vote on the birthday poll.  Winner gets an autographed diaper (unused) from the twins.

Wow. Couldn't you come up with a nicer blog name?
Can't wait for the babies to be born on July 12 and look like the milkman. (Do you guys have a milkman??)

I thought the title best encapsulated the concept of talking on a daily basis about a life that will involve countless messy diapers.

you cannot have a page about your brand new babies called verbal diarrea!! it should be something like 'pretty, pretty princesses' or something cute. though i do love how you managed to tie it all together. ;) if laurin knew how to work the internet i bet she'd be mad.

Baby #1 and Baby #2 are pretty cute. Maybe the twins will have some of their attractive features such as Frankie's eyes and Owen's nose and ears.....Also, as to Dupree....let me know if there are any reports of late nights or wildness....Dupree can pay rent now that she got her first paycheck...or take it out in diaper changing!!!!!!!We think the girls will arrive betwwen July 12th and July 23rd which wasn't an option so we couldn't vote. We have the GPS fired up and ready to get us to Indianapolis via the shortest route on a moment's notice... future Nana??? (Nance)

Ry and Laurin; Soon you will change the blog to " Praying for sleep". Leo and I selected before July 12th. Babies over time have come when ever they wanted to. Why your mother took a year to arrive.ok family story. Thanks for the blog to keep those of us far away in touch with you and your family. Love Auntie K.

I am so excited about this blog! Now I can feel like I'm part of the immediate family. I agree...you need to come up with a better name. I voted for the 25th as Grandma and Grandpa Hendrickson won't be settled back down until then. I can't wait though, so the 12th will be fine!

Love,
AP

I think the babies will arrive between the 13th and the 20th. Can't wait. I also see quite a resemblance in one of the the ultrasound pictures to their Daddy,so one is going to look like him. I too think the blog name needs to be changed. Maybe we need a contest for that, too.

I vote for after July 23- on a hunch. If I win the prize, I will probably frame it! Maybe take a pic and put it in the family genealogy book.
Love the photos...Laurin you look great. And I think one of each little love will look like each of you-so they will both be beautiful...

Soon-to-be Great Aunt Sandy
